Chinatown Market

We woke to a smoggy sunrise at 6:30A.M, slightly sleepy from the late night smoke and noise in the room next to us. Again took the Royal River shuttle boat to River City Center to walk through Chinatown. Dim Sum at the White Orchid Hotel was our first stop. Through the thronging street markets Bob found our way to the “Crocodile Wat” and back to the RCC for RR shuttle back to hotel. Ann is grateful to swim again in the little used hotel pool while Bob checks Internet in lobby.

We repacked our bags for Vietnam before dinner at the River Bar next door which was a real winner - asparagus and mushroom stirfry, deepfried whole fish with mango salad, noodles with fish balls and chicken with jellyfish. Ate on dock over river, great service, 2 minutes from RR it warrants a repeat. Views from the 10th floor of the hotel included the Wat nearby where monks who use the river “bus” stop # 19 must live.
