We couldn't sleep past 6:00 so we got up and watched part of the TDF. We decided to have breakfast in the hotel. It was a little expensive but it was very good. I had fresh melon, muesli, eggs, bacon, Danish, orange juice and coffee. This was good fuel after a hard day yesterday.

It was time to do laundry, so I joined some of the others in our tour at the local Laundromat. As my clothes were drying, about 20 pre-teens came in to do their wash. They were with some adults and I assumed that they were camping nearby.

After laundry, I took a river walk with Dick. We saw many sights including the Banff Springs Hotel and the performing arts center. Dick wanted to go to see the hotel, so we split up. I stopped at Safeway for a sandwich for lunch and provisions for breakfast. I was getting tired of paying high prices for meals and decided to be a little more self-sufficient. I ate my lunch in our room, watched part of the TDF and worked some crossword puzzles.

Dick and I joined Bill Keckler and Jim Woo for dinner at a Thai restaurant. It was authentic and good.
