La Rocca di Rassina

We left Stresa in the morning and caught a train to Milan. At the train station, we rented a car and drove to La Rocca. La Rocca rests on the border of Tuscany and Umbria between Cortona and Umbertide. It is high on a hill on a dirt road that is hard to find. (Directions are to turn left at the green garbage bins). Hoby and Alanna rented the castle for the week's festivities. Our rooms were modern, spacious and clean. The food was very good. The castle's grounds were large and there were ample places to walk nearby.
