  • July 3 - Seattle to Home

I was up early so I could fix some strong coffee and read the paper. Then I went to breakfast. Because it was Sunday, I decided to fix a waffle. The blueberry mix was pretty good. I ate it with some sausages. A few people from our group were there. We sat together at the long table and had a good breakfast conversation. We had another session of good-byes. I caught the 8:30 hotel shuttle to the University Light Rail Station. The train took me to SeaTac. I was surprised at the long line at the Southwest counter, but it moved quickly. The security lines were also quick. I had enough time to eat a sandwich before my 11:35 flight.

I landed in Oakland and waited a long time for my luggage. When it finally arrived, I called Ann who was waiting at the cell phone lot. She picked me up and we were home in 15 minutes.

This was a good tour. Because I hadn't been riding much, I was not very confident when the date of the tour was approaching. My riding companions made me feel much better and I knew that I would complete the tour without stress. Loretta and Yvonne did a great job with hotels, routes, dinners and Happy Hours. I am happy.
