Although there was a ride scheduled this morning on Wolf Creek Rd and on out to Sun Mountain, I decided to skip it and drive back to Lake Wenatchee. I left a short while after breakfast after saying good-bye to the people that I missed the day before.
Ann called me as I was motoring down alongside the Columbia River and told me that the battery in her mother's car was dead and she could not meet me in Leavenworth as we had planned. She was going to drop off the car there and check in with her mother. She wanted to do it today because it would be too early in the morning to do it tomorrow. So I stopped in Leavenworth to pick up jumper cables and drove up to the lake.
After eating lunch, we got the car started. Then we drove both cars to Leavenworth, dropped off her mother's car, visited with her mother and her brother John and drove back to the lake.
We made it to La Pine, OR the next day and were home late Tuesday afternoon.
