Bob on BAC Majorca 2007

I was up at 5:00. The taxi arrived before 6:00 and drove me to the airport. I ate breakfast at the airport, signed onto the internet and caught up on my blog and email. Lufthansa got me to Munich. US Air got me to Philadelphia and then to San Francisco. I am very unimpressed with US Air. Its flight attendents are cranky, impersonal and unhelpful. Headphones and liquor have a price. The plane coming out of Philadelphia was dirty with crumbs on the seats. I finished a book and watched two movies over the Atlantic. I bought a new book in Philadelphia but fell asleep across the US and didn't read any of it.

An interesting event occurred on the trans-Atlantic leg. My row mate decided that he would ignore warnings about turning on his cellphone. After he was caught the second time, the flight attendent chewed him out and took his phone. As we were leaving the plane, there were two security officers there to meet him. I'd love to know what happened. I guess those cranky flight attendents had some value afterall.
