We left the Delta Hotel this morning for a very long bus ride back to Halifax. We had one prolonged stop along the way for lunch at a large rest area. A farm next to the rest area had a maze set up in its corn field. ​

When we arrived in Halifax, the bus dropped us at the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic. Before we were scheduled to go into the museum, we had some time to walk along the waterfront. It was a warm day where we could enjoy the bustling activity next to the piers. After entering the museum, we had a short guided tour. Then we were free to wander through the exhibits at our leisure. The collection represents the marine history of Nova Scotia and those regions or subjects that are considered significant or of interest to the people of Nova Scotia. The collection belongs to the people of Nova Scotia and is largely developed through the generosity of many individuals. ​

When we were finished, the bus picked us up and took us to the Atlantica Hotel. Our bags were unloaded and we said our good-byes to Norm, our driver. ​

Our farewell dinner was in the same conference room as our welcome dinner. The buffet was different, though. Conversations were less awkward because we knew the other people much better. It was difficult to say farewell, but it was time to move on.
