Route Simulator
The route simulator below was created and copyrighted in 2008 by
Mark Williams
(mark_st@myosotissp.com). The simulated tour starts automatically. User
controls are at the bottom right of the frame. When you move your mouse
over the circles, descriptions of their functions will appear. The data
that the tour is based on is from my GPS device. Stops along the route
are from stops that I made during the actual tour. To get past the
stops quicker, grab the yellow spot on the graph and move it. You might
want to push the circle that speeds up the tour so that it runs faster.
Google Earth options are controlled by the white cross in the dark-blue
circle at the bottom right of the Google Earth view. You might want to
experiment with these options to display more data at the bottom of the
Google Earth view. I like to turn on the "Overview Map" which uses
Google Maps to trace the route. The green circle with the black cross
controls the graph that appears below the Earth frame.
